UNSEALED: Teenage victim's secret testimony in Roman Polanski sex case.
MARCH 25--After an Albany man was arrested earlier this month for refusing to remove a "Give Peace A Chance" t-shirt he was wearing while shopping at a mall, local cops were deluged with critical--and often profane--e-mail from around the globe. TSG filed a Freedom of Information request for correspondence received by the Guilderland Police Department in the wake of the arrest of Stephen Downs, the 61-year-old lawyer busted March 3 at the Crossgates Mall (charges were subsequently dropped). What follows is a sampling of the 200-plus nasty missives received by the Guilderland cops, who redacted the e-mail addresses of their irate correspondents. (10 pages)
